The American Racing VF483 17x9 CUSTOM
How to Measure a Wheel
**Note** Wheels are always one inch wider than listed width. Example: If a wheel is listed as 15x8 then the total outside width will be 9". Also note how the bolt pattern is measured. Five lug bolt patterns are not measured center to center, they are measured center to outside.
Q:
I have a 75 vette that I put 2" offset trailing arms on,I want to keep the tires under the body like the stock 4.5 back space 8" wheels. Do I just add 1" to the back space for 9" wheels to achieve this? Please no guesses.

A:
Use a 5.0" backspace on the 17x9 wheel for the C3 Corvette. The outside edge of the wheel will be the same as the factory rally which was a 15x8 with 4.0" backspace.
