American Racing Torq Thrust II one-piece aluminum wheel with fully polished finish from the American Racing Hot Rod Series. This wheel is direct bolt with conical seat lug holes for use with acorn style lugs. Center Caps are included with the Torq Thrust II.

Polished Torq-Thrust II VN5155665 says its polished aluminum and I'm looking for polished chrome does it look equal to chrome ????

A:
This is a polished wheel is is polished to a bright shine, but it is not as shiny and does not have the mirror finish that a chrome plated wheel has. American Racing does not build the Torq Thrust II in a truly chrome plated wheel. It is built in a PVD Chrome Coating (VN8155765) but that is not a traditional chrome. It has a smoke color to it. Some people call it black chrome. If you want a truly chrome plated Torq Thrust wheel take a look at the Chrome Torq Thrust D. The part number is VN6055765.

A:
This 15x7 Torq Thrust II wheel fits standard disc brakes. There are big brake kits that are designed for much larger wheels, but unless you have one of these big brake kits these fit with no issues.

A:
No the Torq Thrust II wheels will not fit your 1991 Ford Thunderbird. Your Thunderbird has a 5x4.25 bolt pattern and uses a high offset wheel. Unfortunately none of the Torq Thrust wheels will fit your 1991 Thunderbird.

Will these fit on the rear of my 1963 (5 lug) Ford Fairlane ? the car DOES have a set of 3" lift rear leaf springs installed. Also, if they DO fit; what max size tire might also fit/ you recommend?

Yes they 15x7 will fit the five lug Fairlane. Since the car has been raised you be able to fit a 235/60R15.

Yes the 15x7 Torq Thrust II will fit all the way around as long as the tire is not over 25.25" in overall diameter and the car is stock.

Full Polished Finish. Wash with mild soap and water then dry with towel. Polish with aluminum polish as needed. Do not use wheel cleaners. The finish of polished wheels is not covered under material and/or workmanship warranty.
American Racing Limited Warranty states that wheels manufactured by American Racing will be free from structural failure under normal and intended use as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. American Racing further warrants to the original retail purchaser that products manufactured by American Racing will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and intended use for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Polished wheels are not covered by a finish warranty. Painted wheels have a one year finish warranty. Chrome plated aluminum wheels have a one year warranty against chrome peeling on the face of the wheel. Chrome pitting is a result of exposure to chemicals or salt and is not covered under this warranty. PVD Chrome wheels have a two year finish warranty. American Racing's sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or replace wheel at American Racing's descretion. Such repair or replacement shall not include removal, installation or shipping charges. Wheel must be returned to Wheelsforless along with original receipt. In no event shall American Racing or Wheelsforless be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages.
Only wheels that have not been mounted, are in their original boxes, and were purchased in the last 60 days may be returned. There will be a 15% restocking fee charged on all returns with a minimum restocking fee of $15.00. There will be no exceptions to the restocking fee or the return of mounted wheels. Even wheels that were miss-boxed or are the wrong application will not be accepted for return or exchange if the wheel has been mounted. You mount it - You own it. The installer MUST test fit each and every wheel on the vehicle before mounting tires to verify fitment. No restocking fee will be charged on Exchanges, but all shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
